ORIGINS

Carlos C. Carrasquero was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1993. From an early age, he developed a fascination with stories—not only reading them but also understanding how they were constructed and how they could transform the way we see the world.

That curiosity led him to cross borders and pursue his studies in the United States, where he discovered in creative writing and video game design the tools to shape his narrative vision.

BACKGROUND

His academic journey reflects this passion: he earned an associate degree in Video Game Design at Keiser University and later graduated from Full Sail University with two bachelor’s degrees—one in Game Design and another in Creative Writing.

He went on to complete a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the same institution. This path allowed him to merge the logic of interactive design with the sensitivity of literature, enriching his distinctive style.

EDITORIAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Carlos also cultivated leadership and editorial experience. As Vice President of the Full Sail student paper, he directed editorial strategies, recruited and trained new talent, and ensured a narrative standard that connected with the student audience.

As a fiction editor, his strength lies in enhancing the flow and coherence of stories while always honoring the author’s original voice and vision.

LITERARY STYLE AND WORK

His work centers on short stories of fantasy and science fiction, written in both English and Spanish.
